Setup Required for Netgear wifi

I have a Netgear wifi from AT&T.  It has been in service for almost a year.  Service was degrading and then to top it off device said it was getting hot.  Because of the problems I removed battery and rebooted.  It now has message that Setup Required visit http://attwifimanager to complete setup.  I attempt to go to the website and says page cant be displayed......like it no longer exists.  I called for technical support which was the third party Assurion and they didn't know how to help.  They sent me to an AT&T tech who didn't know why the website wasn't working....Was supposed to have called me back before end of that day but never heard from anyone.  So I spent almost 2 hours on phone and I still have a device that I'm paying for that has been useless for over three weeks now.  Any ideas?

The most important aspect that all users remember is that both the frequency bands of your setup.ampedwireless.com router must be using the same wireless settings.

A Virtual Private Network of your router allows the user to securely access the network even when you are not at home.
