Robocalled and spoofed.
My phone is not only being spoofed, but also robocalled. The area code and first 3 digits are the same and the last 4 digits are different. I even get angry voice mails from people that think I am calling them, but it's the robocall and spoof using my number. It's so annoying and ATT said I can change my number or download the call protect app. Not great solutions. Throwing my hands up, no clue what to do.

I know having your number spoofed can be incredibly bothersome. There are several ways to spoof an alternate phone number. This kind of variety makes it difficult to prevent it
There are third party applications and sometimes settings within the phone which can prevent callers not in your contact list from calling you. This will remove callers you don’t recognize from being able to contact you.
I understand not wanting to change your number. If you have a lot of contacts, it can be difficult to have them all update their contact list. Sometimes your number can even carry sentimental value.
