We'll be happy to help you out with email-to-texts messages @Letitgo11.

We'd like a bit of context, to better understand the scope of your issue based on your initial message. Please answer the following questions, so we can look into more troubleshooting options.

  • Are the email-to-texts unable to be sent, or received? Try resetting the network settings of the sending or receiving device in question. This will refresh and improve the device's connection to our network, which will help it get or send texts messages.
    • Please be aware that resetting network settings will erase all saved Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and connection settings.
  • Are you getting any error codes when sending email-to-texts? If so, then the recieving address may be incorrect. We recommend you double check the formatting of email-to-text recipients

Please share this information and troubleshooting results with us here, so we can continue if needed.

Thank you for reaching back out to us with more details Letitgo11!

Since you are unable to send email to text messages with outlook but are able to send with other email providers, we recommend reaching out to Outlook customer service for further assistance, as the concern may be on their end.

ATT’s email to text interface only accepts emails from registered and recognized email domains. The problem may not be outlook, it may be the email domain.

Did you read the post?

Yes, did you read mine?

Outlook tried to send it on 14 tries.  It is rejected by at&t...

Possibly because the sending email domain is not recognized. Regardless of the reason, no one here including ATTHelp can definitively say why. This is something the outlook administrators need to work directly with ATT technical support.

Somebody at Att should be able to help.

Yes, advanced tech support. However, getting in touch with the right person that can actually help, not so easy. Your best chance to get the level of tech support you need is to escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint.
