Oneplus A6013 Compatible on "whitelist"
Sorry if it's in the wrong forum. I didn't know what category topic this falls under.
I bought my own phone at Amazon. I had T-Mobile now I have AT&T.
I went into the store and asked if my phone was compatible, the guy did some tests and used their sim in my phone and said it's compatible. However, it keeps getting disconnected from the mobile network and if I am connected, it's a weak signal. Plus, I keep getting error messages when trying to get into caller ID/call waiting setting, it says sim card or network error.
My home internet/wifi has not changed if that helps. The wifi only on my phone, works good.
My A6013 phone is unlocked and it says my sim is activated. I'm able to receive and send calls, sometimes. I've had people tell me they weren't able to hear me or not at all. For some reason i just thought maybe if I put them on speaker, it would work and it did, plus they were able to hear me just fine, after i turned it off. IDK why. Seem strange but it works. Other times just switching between preferred network type helps too, but these all seem like s band aid kind of fix. Is there maybe an update or something I'm missing? Or if there is a permanent fix for stronger more compatible network connection, or maybe a custom OS ROM that is compatible?
I did find a cool testing tool though *#*#4636#*#*
I tested different network types. Some worked and some didn't at all, but they eventually all go back to a weak signal. I'm not sure if its useful, how to use it, or read it though, i mean other than the obvious stuff and pinging. I'll send photos. I know how to read some technical terms, sort of, but there's a lot of acronyms im not sure about lol

Digital Life is a retired Home Security / Home Monitoring product and is not the right place. Never fear, I moved you to the correct forum.
The A6013, i.e. the 6T, is on the AT&T supported phone list. It shows, however, that as an unlocked phone, you're not getting Wi-Fi calling on this device, so your Wi-Fi signal is of no consequence in terms of being able to make/receive calls or texts.

We're sorry to hear that you're having connectivity issues with your OnePlus 6T device, @FriskyKitty. This is not the experience we want you to continue to have.
You can use this resource to set up call forwarding.
It gives you step by step tips on call forwarding issues.
To set up call waiting, simply go to your Phone dialer > 3-dot menu at top right > Settings > Call settings > Select the SIM you want to change the settings for > Additional settings > Call waiting.
To set up caller ID, Phone app > Settings > Call Settings > choose which SIM > Additional Settings > Caller ID (choice: Network default, Hide number, Show number)
We noticed that you are having a SIM card or network error based on the screenshot provided. To fix this, you just have to insert your SIM card into a device that is supported by us and has VoLTE activated. Once it shows up on that device with the SIM inserted, remove the sim and place it back into your OnePlus 6T and your VoLTE will work without issues.
If you don't have another phone that is supported, you can try getting a service rep to activate your sim on a supported dummy device to help properly provision your card, for when it is inserted into the next device.
It would help if you programmed your data settings. Since your device is compatible with LTE, you would change the setting to NXTGENPHONE.
We also recommend using our wireless support in case you need further assistance with caller ID and call waiting. Please share with the results with us.
