Not being able to access http://attunite site
Hello,
I have a netgear/Sierra aircard 770S (attUnite). I need to access the manager at http://attunite but I can't seem to be able to do this? the web site does not work. The device is plugged into a computer and is turned on. However I am not presently in the US and so I don't have internet access through the aircard. I have access through ethernet connection to the computer. Is this reason why I can't access the site? I rember accessing the manager without problems when I was in the US a couple of month ago.
Is there another way to access the unite manager?
Thanks
TuxedoChris

you mentioned that you have an ethernet cord plugged in for internet, If connected to both it may have problems accessing the manager as it would default to the "Internet Access" connection. Didn't know if that was a possibility but figured I would throw that out there

I looked at the user guide online, this appears to be like a standard router/modem. You must first connect to the hotspot then type that into the browser. Like a linksys router http://attunite is not a website it is the built in software in the hotspot. After you connect to the hotspot you should be able to see that without an internet connection.

Makes sense only it does not work. My aircard is connected to the computer, the computer sees it as airscard 770s, yet when I type the http://attunite it does not take me to the manager but rather to a parasitic site named "attunite.com". I am going to try with a different browser. So far I have used firefox
Thanks for the info, at least it shows that I should be able to access it even without internet connection.
Cheers,

You are right!!
I had to disconnect from the default router, then "force" the connection to the unit even though it was not connected to internet and then I could access the unite manager. This allowed me to set up a different APN and I can now connect to the Bahamas Telephone Co Network through my unlocked aircard! This is a savior because I could find any aircard or dongle anywhere for sale in Grand Bahama.
Thanks so much for the help!
Cheers,

Very easy! Once you connect your computer to the wifi spot simply type 192.168.1.1. and you can also connect directly to the device. (If http://attunite is not working)

I haven't used mine much. But the instructions say go to "http://attunite". This seriously doesn't work for me. I go to "https://my.freedompop.com/plan". I type in the email address used when signing up. and the password. It pulls up the account easily and quickly
