Non US Customer with AT&T Lumia 950 and i need to unlock
I purchased my Lumia 950 off Amazon. It's a brand new phone but I found out its AT&T locked (and came with ATT sim too which is useless here) and I don't live in the US. I sent the request to unlock it on December, 24 2016, the day it arrived.
It's been 5 days now and no response, it just says "in progress" despite them saying it'd take only two days to process.
What should I do now? I need to unlock the carrier urgently as my old phone is almost dead... What's the point of buying this phone of it's locked and they're not unlocking it?

AT&T was not the seller of that device. You purchased a locked phone from a third party vendor. It's up to that third party seller or outlet to ensure proper description of anything they sell.
The unlock portal has been having some issues lately and for a non-customer this is the only way to get an unlock code.

It's brand new and ATT locked, so you take some responsibility for the lock. Who else unlocks it? the angels? lol, how long is this unlock going to take? I've read a lot of complaints about it taking too long and that you're always having issues, the procedure should be just automatic, not everyone can wait a year.
