Nighthawk Router
Has AT&T banned the Nighthawk router?
I'm thinking of switching to them, but I've been told that they don't allow the use of this router because it accesses too much bandwidth. What's the truth here? Other routers are inefficient and buggy, so I don't want to switch. AT&T makes it extremely difficult to ask a question if you are not already a customer.
Can anyone help me answer this one question?

Don’t know for sure but ATT seems to prefer providing their own modem/router system.

Note that AT&T is closing down their 3G spectrum. Older nighthawks that use the 3G protocols are not going to be supported once 3G is shut down. However, AT&T has been marketing a newer Nighthawk that should be fine post-transition.
