New, unused, boxed, Moto Z2 Force: "Your unlock request was denied because there's an unpaid balance linked to your device."

I aquired a new, unused, closed box Moto Z2 Force, and AT&T denied my request.

who did you buy it from? People do this all the time they buy some phones on a postpaid account intending to make a quick buck and never pay the phones off

You maybe right, but I will never know.

I live in Brazil and bought this as an old new stock.

Anyways, can I do something do correct this, and unlock the bootload?

Thanks.

No, not unless the original purchaser pays it off. Moving to wireless.

@douglascs those types of discussions are forbiden in the forums , theres no way to buck the system, someone owes money on the phone and atT has every right to lock it, there have been thousands of posts where 3rd party services were used and it was a temporary 2 day to a couple week fix until it was relocked and then they were not only out the price of the phone they were out 60 to 200 dollars they paid.
