My phone isn't sending texts to one person.

I have a gophone, and it suddenly decided to not send texts to just one person in particular.  I even went out and got another gophone to see if that fixed it, but that didn't work.  My texts all show as sent, but she isn't receiving them.  I can receive them from her just fine.

I tried to find an email or live chat to contact an AT&T employee, but apparently it doesn't exist because every link i clicked just sent me around in circles.  It's a little ridiculous.

Has the person you can't send SMS messahes to recently switched from an iPhone to another phone model?  It is a fairly common issue that when iPhone users switch phones, they often forget to disable their "iMessage" account, so the systems all assume they are still using the iPhone and it sends the messages that way.  Of course, in those cases, they aren't using the iPhone any more, but the Apple iMessage process is queueing the messages up for them becaue they never turned it off.

If they haven't recently switched from an iPhone, what carrier are they on?  There are some issues with sending SMS messages form one carrier to another where they sometimes just don't go through.  This is less common, but often a result from an account setting on one of the two carriers which causes the two systems to not "handshake" properly, so the messages just go away never to be seen again.

Lastly, if you are on a pre-paid/go-phone account, then you might be impacted by a recent change in policies from AT&T.  I believe that they recently changed their go-phone accounts such that you need to be on the $25/month arrangement in order to subscribe to either SMS or data services.

Please let us know if any one of these helps, or if you have yet some other issue you are encountering.
