My CDS-9070 doesn't seem to recognize my sim

Hey so my CDS-9070 doesn't appear to pick up my sim, I beleive I put it in the right way (Gold contacts facing down) but the web portal doesn't say anything about it when it's in either slot, Ocasionally the RSSI light comes on and turns off again (I have a very poor connection -133db) but I don't think that matters for now, I'm using my phone sim and an adapter for the time being if that matters, I have tried restart the device but still no luck, am I missing something here?

We want to help get your device up and running on our cellular network, @Ben_S

Please confirm that you're using a compatible device. If your device is compatible with the network, you'll need to purchase a compatible SIM card and activate it on a new plan if you haven't already done so.

Learn how to insert your SIM card

  1. Go to Device Support.
  2. Choose your device.
  3. Scroll to Getting started and select Hardware & phone details.
  4. Choose Insert or remove SIM card and follow the steps.

Please let us know how this information helps. Thanks for reaching out to our AT&T Community!

The op's device seems to be one of those "POTS in a Box" solution devices.  Not the typical cellular or home wi-fi device we talk about here, so that device isn't in the normal "device support" lookup list.

It's supposedly made to use AT&T's LTE service, but I think it needs someone who knows more about AT&T's business solutions.
