Not a home phone issue, moving to the wireless forum.

The mck code is the master unlock code. This code is only asked for if a phone is permanently locked to AT&T, usually because the unlock code is incorrectly entered more than five times.

AT&T does not have this code, and therefore cannot provide it.

You'll need to get the MCK code from Samsung and to start off You'll need proof of purchase for sure. Not sure what else you'll need or if Samsung support will even help.

Samsung provides this to AT&T with each IMEI number. But AT&T will not give it to you. You'll need to file a complaint with the FCC. Maybe if enough people do they will change their business practices.

Samsung provides AT&T with the unlock code, not the mck code.  AT&T will not provide you with the mck code.

Samsung will not provide MCK code for AT&T phones.   They don't care if you have proof of purchase or not.

The only way to get all the codes is to pay and unlock service. It will include unlock code mck code and a bunch of other codes.

If you file an FCC complaint, AT&T May do all the work for you. They may individually contact Samsung and get you the mck code, and provide you with the unlock code.
