When will AT&T Blackberry Priv update be made available? Seems like every other carrier is rolling out the update, except sLOWwwwww. AT&T.

You sell this phone and tout the security of it, yet security updates and OS updates (which are supposed to improve security) aren't released.  We live up to our end of the contract by paying our bills.  We should have a reasonable expectation of timely security and OS updates - that's your end of the bargain.  The FCC and FTC are doing informal investigations about why carriers like yourself drag your feet on security and OS updates.  What are you going to tell them?  So you can add as much bloatware as possible?  It can't be because of testing - other carriers have released the update and no one's phone has imploded.

I've been with AT&T-Cingular-AT&T for 20 years.  Maybe it's time to switch.  The reasons I've stayed in the past aren't valid anymore, especially now that 2-year contracts with subsidized phones are gone.  I can buy an factory unlocked phone for the same price as I'll end up paying you, and get timely OS updates and most of all freedom of choice for my carrier. The early termination fee will be worth it to stop begging for these updates EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Seriously, if you aren't going to ever release Android M for the Priv, just admit it.  Do it now.  Save us all the hassle of continuing to beg.  And if you are going to release it?  JUST DO IT.  Please.

@ATTMobilityCare, guess what? T-Mobile is allowing the Marshmallow beta on their phones. These are not just factory unlocked ShopBB, or Amazon phones, but actual T-Mobile branded phones. Seems it can be done. Hmmm.

Can you please get this update processed and express some a.e.r. for these people it seems very important to them for this update or a link to get them a little taste of the update. AT&T does appreciate you as the valued customers and they I'm sure can understand you frustration with needing this update please bear with us while we struggle through this wait time to meet your needs by having the new marshmallow operating system it says that as of now the operating system is being rolled out as of yesterday for the black berry https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.ubergizmo.com/2016/05/blackberry-priv-set-to-receive-another-marshmallow-beta-update/&ved=0ahUKEwi00fyU1evMAhVBUWMKHefAAjEQqG8IKzAE&usg=AFQjCNGdm5nsRYSMlMKoBHWSNS_4ArVfMA Not sure but I believe this link goes here to the download it says it is expensive and needs to be uploaded from the home computer or personal computer and you can upload it that way faster but I'm also sure it says the upload is only avaliable if you buy a new phone with the update from black berry. Non the less hope you don't leave over this update. Hope you give a chance to resolve the delay

I hope this guy does not represent ATT. That would really make this worse. I left Verizon because ATT was way ahead in adopting the Priv. Now there are Verizon users that have a more up to dater priv than I do, and I'm left dealing with the nuisance issues. Like right now, I had to write that last sentence 3 times because of the spazzy keyboard. Please stop making me feel like a fool. Put customer service ahead of corporate directives and initiatives or whatever makes you think you should ruin software that your supplier worked so hard on.

I wish I could post a picture of the email I was sent from John Legere CEO of T-Mobile. He's hooking me up to leave att just because I chatted with him on Periscope . He's freaking awesome. All T-Mobile phones are on Marshmallow

I can't wait for this update to be sent out im so hyper for Android 6.0, but I do understand that AT&T have to test and make sure that it is stable on our phone, but I feel that AT&T need to work faster on geting updates out to all there phones the same as that work on getting the IPhone updates out. Because some people are claming that AT&T are trying to force people to buy a phone that is updated and or to get a IPhone that cost more then any other phone on the market. But I know this is not true AT&T have one of the best customers service departments in the mobile phone business. But AT&T you have to do something with these updates. I know and I fully understand that you are trying to give your customers the best experience and you maintain this with the rigorous OS testing and I thank you for this AT&T but I feel that the AT&T's customers and AT&T need to have better communication. I feel this can be easily accomoplish by providing your customers an estimated of how long the testing and preparation phases for updates may take and to tell your customers how the testing process works. By doing this you can tell your customers what phase of testing there selected OS and device is in. I feel that this should ease up the stress that both AT&T and AT&T's customers have. AT&T we know you are planning to release this update, but you have to understand how we feel about all the late updates, and you can not ask your customers to understand the testing process when we do not know anything about the testing process, so please inform your customers about the testing process and how it works so we can understand the delays and why updates are relesed so late. Thank You AT&T!

Hi @lle2868,

Thank you so much for calling out the broken link. We actually had an issue with this on a few posts, but it is now corrected and working properly. Obviously this is already a very frustrating situation, so having a broken link on top of that doesn't help matters.

Please continue sending us the feedback. We are doing everything we can to make our process more seamless and transparent going forward. Your feedback is a huge part of that.

Thanks

I purchased a PRIV straight from BlackBerry and got the 6.0 release. Then of course I broke my phone. It was replaced with an AT&T phone and now I have waited over a month for the same release. The new 6.0 is sweet and made the phone perform better. What is the holdup AT&T?? BlackBery already proved it works and works well on the AT&T network.

Att sucks!! I was tired of waiting for their dam lies. Their worse than Sprint. I left and joined T-Mobile and the Marshmallow is on T-Mobile. Att wants to add Bloatware before they release it. If I could curse on here I would let att have it. I pulled all 13 company phones and left, and my wife's family owns CFC Oil and they have tons of phones and their leaving too because they want the update.

I would say AT$T really sucks. The thing is that their optimizing or customizing system turns out to be installing lots of their garbage apps that we are never gonna use on the original operating system. Sometimes they directly ignore the customers if the volume of them is pretty small and they will never push the update even the original one without their modification. This already happened to me twice.
