Lumia 950 model differences?

I am wondering what the difference is in these 2 Models:

Lumia  rm 1105 ATT and Lumia rm 6017a ATT

These both appear to be the Lumia 950. Is one the official ATT distributed model

and one the Microsoft distributed model? Or are they different release dates?

Does one work better for ATT service , which I have ?

@asm528 the RM-1105 is a US Model Lumia 950 AT&T version. 6017A is not a model number. From what I've been able to gather, the 6017A is a number AT&T uses.

Hello @asm528!

Welcome to the Community Forums! This is a great question and I will be more than happy to provide you some information!

The Microsoft Lumia 950 is a great Windows phone. The device model number differs because you can find the XL model and the regular one. Also, one of the benefits provided is the SIM card capacity, which allows single or dual depending on your needs.

In addition, these models come in different colors and storage capacity. In order to find the specifications for your device model, please click on this link. Once there, make sure to select the make and model of your phone > View All Solutions > under About device, click on Specifications to view detailed information.

I also recommend downloading the free online manual to get step-by-step instructions to find additional information or learn how to manage your device.

I hope this information helps! Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Thanks for looking into it 🙂   What you say is likely correct. My concern here is that, the unlocked MSFT version does not have the blessing of ATT HD voice. Some adverts depict 6017a as a ATT model number, when it may just be another identifier within the model. Near as I can tell.
