Nope. It's an unsupported device, codes were purged ages ago.
Try a paid service, but doubtful you'll have any luck

Thank you. That is interesting, as it is a 4G LTE phone and we currently still have two others working just fine. One on T-Mobile and one on Boost. Both were unlocked by AT&T a few years ago. Point being, they still work with other carriers. If in fact this AT&T locked phone cannot be used, I'll send it back.

To be clear, can this phone be used with an AT&T plan or not?

It will not be allowed on AT&T because it's not VoLTE compliant. Last day to activate non compliant phones was in February 2019.

Got it! Thank you. That's the information I've been searching for. Soooo, AT&T won't activate it and made sure, by not unlocking it, that no one else can as well. Huh. I really do appreciate the education. I'll send the phone back, since it is really not a "phone" anymore.

Don't attempt to unlock. If you have a functioning unit, it will remain functional as long as you don't try to replace the SIM card. I tried to upgrade the SIM card to a micro SIM with a nano SIM cutout. It bricked my phone. This was performed at a ATT store with ATT technical online techs helping They finally gave up. Unfortunate, but not really their fault due to the status of the phone. Too bad it was abandoned. I really liked the phone.
