How to set different ringtone for alarm on AT&T Cingular Flip (M3620)??

This is my 2nd Cingular Flip. I liked it so much I bought one for my elderly aunt but I gave her mine and I took the new one since I had already customized mine with louder ringtones, etc. But now I can't for the life of me recall how I set the alarm ringtone. I've read the user manual and searched tutorials online to no avail. I know it can be done because I did it before. But now I can't remember how! Anybody know? Smiley Frustrated

Hello @geminimac!

I will be happy to help today with setting your alarm ringtones! Great question!

You should be able to set this right through your settings. From the home screen, select the Menu key > Clock > Alarm. Here, you should see an option for Alert Type. Once here, you will want to make sure that it is on Ring Only, or Vibration and Ring.

To change your actual ringtone, along with ringtone volume and type, we can do this from your Settings. You want to select Menu > Settings > User Profiles > General.

Customize the ringtone by selecting Options > Customize (while on General).

Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions! Have a great day!

This message does NOT apply to my Cingulair Flip 4; there is no User Profile/General and nothing but an Add button on that page.

Let's look into helping you customize the alarm ringtone on your Cingular Flip 4, @saltyl!

We invite you to follow these instructions on page 43. Under Setting an alarm you will want to select Sound to apply and set those changes to the alarm as presented.

We hope this info helps. Let us know how it worked for you!
