How do I unlock an AT&T phone without account?
I purchased an AT&T GoPhone from a retailer. The device just arrived and I want to unlock my device. Can I do this online?

Requesting an unlock for your device has never been easier! Our Device Unlock Portal allows you to submit your request completely online, whether you’re a current or previous customer on a postpaid or AT&T Prepaid account, or even if you were never an AT&T customer!
Ready To Unlock Your Device?
Did you have trouble? Check out the requirements list below.
Approved Unlocks
Once your request has been processed, we will send another email to the address provided containing unlock instructions for your device. It may take 48 hours to process your requests. For a complete list of instructions, check out our Device Unlock Instruction page.
Denied Unlock Request
Check out the requirements below if your request was denied. If your device meets the requirements and you are still having trouble, chat with us so we can check out what is going on.
General Requirements for all Unlock Requests:
eBay & Non-AT&T Purchases
If a phone is purchased from a non-AT&T authorized dealer or sites like eBay, AT&T may be unable to unlock the device. Before purchasing the device, make sure the seller performs the unlock request. In some instances, you will have to contact the seller to perform the request.
Postpaid Customers
Prepaid / GoPhone®
Non-AT&T Mobility Customers
Deployed Military Personnel (Current AT&T Customers Only)
Important:
AT&T reserves the right to deny any unlock request that it concludes would result in an abuse of this policy or is part of an effort to defraud AT&T or its customers. AT&T further reserves the right to alter this unlocking policy at its discretion without advance notice.

Okay so evertime i try to attempt to unlock my moto x on the att website i get this message when i enter my imei "Error: We found no record of the IMEI Number you entered. Check your device's 15-digit IMEI Number by dialing *#06# (errorCode.ULP2003)". Now i purchased this phone and it says it has a clean imei and it was for AT&T and it was being used as a demo at a large retailer so does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue any information would be highly appreciated.

Hello!
a friend just gave me an iPhone to use while abroad. However it isn’t unlocked. I just tried to unlock it online like I’ve done before, using the IMEI number but it says the number is not correct, although it is.
how can I unlock without this number? Or why isn’t it accepting the IMEI number? Help!
