Hotspot device - rural area

My home is in a rural area and AT&T does not provide hardwired internet, here. I have used internet Hotspots for several years, both of which have been Samsung Galaxy Tabs. They were able to adequately provide the internet I needed to do school work, stream movies/television, and even play MMORPG's.

I am now in search of a new reputable device that will provide me with internet so that I may continue my online endeavors. After reading several reviews of AT&T hotspots, I have found a mixed bag of testimony. What AT&T hotspot devices are highly recommended as dependable?
