Help the LG cf360 voicemail

I call into my voicemail and listen to the message. Then when I push 7 to delete the message, it just shows up on the screen as if I was making a new call. How do I make it not do that and delete the voicemail?

Check your settings (9) - Call (4) - Send DTMF tones (8) - make sure it is set to "ON"

Anything you press on the keyboard will show on the screen. It is that way with ALL phones. It does not do anything but pass the tone along to voicemail to delete your message.

It does that with land based phones, too, that have a digital readout. Call any number where you have to punch additional numbers and look at your display. It shows every number that you press. It doesn't do anything but pass that tone along to whatever system you dialed in to.

I understand that but it DOESN'T "pass the tone along". My voicemail is still there no matter how many times I hit 7!
