Help connecting my computer to my Netgear Hotspot

I am not able to connect my computer to my Netgear Hotspot, it has an x on the wifi symbol when I try to connect to my hotspot. Is there a setting on the hotspot to allow more than one device?

We're here to help you connect to your hotspot @djnjreece.

We know the impact it has on you when you're unable to get your hotspot connected. You are allowed to connect unlimited device as you want. The X is indicating that you do not have a Wi-Fi connection. You can try to connect to your Wi-Fi by doing this:

 

1. On the Wi-Fi device, view the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
2. Connect to the network that corresponds to your mobile hotspot network as displayed
on the LCD screen.
3. When prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password for your mobile hotspot network.
The Wi-Fi password displays on the mobile hotspot LCD screen. If the screen is
turned off, press and quickly release the Power button to wake the mobile hotspot.

 

You can also check out the Netgear User Manuel. Once you navigate to the user manual you can check the Contents, and it will have information on how to connect to the Wi-Fi and troubleshooting steps.
