Harman Spark says activation pending

I've put the Harman Spark device in my vehicle downloaded the app on my phone and it says Activation pending.   My phone sees the spark, but can't connect.  Do I need to do something else.

Mine says the same thing "activation pending" after going through 3 operators I finally got connected to the "Connected Car" Agent who told me to turn the car off, then unplug the device, wait a minute, plug it back in, start the car and go for another 10-20 minute drive. Did that and STILL the same thing flashing Red, Flashing Blue, and solid Blue from left to right with the app still saying activation pending...any suggestions???????

So I spoke to the AT&T “car connect” guy last night who told me that he could not help and that I need to send an email to [email scrubbed]. I sent the email last night with name, email address, IMEI, and ICCID. Now I wait!

SO THE UBER EATS DELIVERY APP DOES NOT WORK WITH WIFI OR THE WIFI THAT HARMAN GIVES. IS THIS ON PURPOSE?

Harman personnel responded to my email this morning stating AT&T needs to activate the Spark. I thought I had done that via guidance from Harman on their quick start guide via internet - www. Att/activate. I then spoke to AT&T personnel who were helpful but not able to activate it due to the SIM card. They are sending a new one so we’ll see if it works.

You have to call the connected car dept at at&T and be VERY patient. I was transferred to the terms and conditions dept first and then back again. You have to tell them you want diagnostic plan only or unlimited for hotspot the phone number is 866-595-1334 (and in case they pull it off it's eight-six-six five-nine-five one-three-three-four. You'll need to know the phone number of the spark - it's on your order form or it's in your ATT order info online. And then either the last four of your SSN or your four digit security code

Thank you for the info. I have already spoken to the AT&T car connect folks who could not activate the Spark. The think it is the SIM card and are sending me a new one which is due to arrive this week. I am and have been extremely patient with all of the techs that I have spoken to and they have been very diligent in trying to resolve the issue. I will post an update once the SIM card arrives and they try to activate the device. BTW, I am bringing my own device that I was able to purchase far cheaper than AT&T wanted. Thanks, Jim
