Got incorrect balance due from reprogram Unlock request Iphone 6
I was given this old Iphone 6 phone and it is free and clear from AT&T, and the former owner says there is no monies due on the phone , yet AT&T will not unlock the phone saying balance due on phone?
We want to reprogram the phone for a homeless person , please let us know how this can be resolved?

If the original owner did not pay off the phone or their account balance AT&T will not unlock the phone.
Just because it is not unlocked does not prevent the phone from being used on AT&T, Cricket, Net10, or any other mvno of AT&T.
