Google Pixel 6A and ATT voicemail call not working

Hi,

Few months ago I upgraded to the Google pixel 6A. While learning how to use the phone, I accidentally deleted a phone number and a function called voicemail, phone number and now whenever I try to call voicemail, I always get call cannot be completed. I'm not sure how to find the phone number for voicemail that accidentally deleted or code or how to reset it or fix it. I do eventually get the voicemails populating in an app but the delay is usually several hours before it shows up

If you are unable to reply to the direct message before it expires, call AT&T and tell them you have accidentally deleted your voicemail box number and you would like to reestablish it.

Hey COCOGANG, we want to make sure you can use your voicemail again.

We want to take care of everything you're experiencing, as well. Based on what you're looking to do, along with the info you've provided, you may need to reset your voicemail password first. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go into the phone app and select the menu icon to access Settings.
    • The icon looks like three dots in a vertical line.
  2. Select Voicemail, then Change PIN. Enter your old voicemail PIN and select Continue.
  3. Enter a new 7-15 PIN and select Continue. Enter the new PIN again, and select OK to confirm.

Once you've done that, or you already know your voicemail password, then you can set up your voicemail by holding the 1 key on the phone app's dialpad. If asked, enter your voicemail password and following the prompts to set up your voicemail again.

As for the delay you're experience when recieving voicemails, this may be caused by a poor connection. You can try turning Airplane Mode on and off or reseting your network settings to quickly refresh and improve your device's connection to our network. Please keep in mind however, resetting your network settings will delete your saved passwords, Bluetooth devices, Wi-Fi and network settings.

Please let us know if this helps, so we can look into this further if needed.

Hi!

All of the steps worked until holding the "1" key. When I hold the one key I get a voice saying that the call cannot be completed as dialed.

I went to a store and they weren't able to help because I have a prepaid plan. They directed me to call 611. A lot of personal stuff happened and it fell of my radar, so I'm going to call this week.
