Ford F150 Hotspot not working

I have a 2022 F 150. Went to att using ford pass app and app does not recognized VIn number. Took vehicle to dealership. They say att problem. Took it to Att and they say ford problem.  Called customer service for att car connect x 4 and all they say is vehicle vin is not showing in system and that ford has not sent paper work over and that was 2 months ago . I called ford. Gave them vin to make sure it would pull up in ford system. All good.

Someone please provided some help besides a number to customer service.

Hi there @fulrob, let's shed some light on your hotspot not working for your F150.


In order to activate your account at the AT&T Connected Car portal:

  • Completely shut down the vehicle including the dashboard (engine off). You will then need to open the door on the driver’s side and, if needed, disconnect from Bluetooth calling.
  • Once the vehicle is completely switched off and the door is open, wait for about 60 seconds before turning the vehicle back on.
  • Turn on the vehicle and make sure the settings on the car's dashboard are enable both for the vehicle Modem Data and Vehicle Hotspot and disable for the Wi-Fi capability of the connected car if available.
