Entice Me

I have a carrier locked AT&T phone, and i recently paid a third party to network  unlock the device. The device is no longer on the network, what can i do with this phone now? If im still leasing, can i trade it in??? Can i sell it, or activate on another Network and how does that work. I've had this phone for over a year now and I still haven't been able to use it I don't know what to do with it and AT&T doesn't really give you any options. I would like to use my phone, what if I don't want to use it on the AT&T network what other networks can i use or what now? They trick me into leasing the device and then cut me off (Fairshare.com)  and I'm stuck with this phone that I have no use for I wish I could use it. Help?!?!

What do you mean ATT doesn’t give you any options? You can get prepaid service or postpaid service and each one has multiple plans to pick from. If your phone is really unlocked, then you can use it on any carrier that the phone is compatible with. As for whether you can trade it in or sell it, it’s your phone, you can do whatever you want with it.

If I'm gathering correctly you carry your unlock to device which has probably been blocked for fraud which is why you couldn't unlock at the conventional way. This means that the person who buys the phone is going to want their money back because they can't use it either. It is likely blacklisted which means he can't use it on a different service provider.

I don't know what sort of fraud protection offer up has, but I hope the person that bought it used PayPal so they can get their money back.
