can any one tell me the correct outgoing server setting for CenturyLink email on an Alcatel 4969a.
the incoming works and I receive emails but can't reply or compose.

I figured it out myself. I had the wrong email app. went to the play store searched "email" and went down the long list. there is a purple envelope mail symbol -email app for android, Craigpark limited- initially it didn't send email, the same problem I had going in. I left it installed to go to an appointment and when I came out I saw that my test email to myself had come through. so far so good since then.
I completely understand how important it is to have your outgoing server setting corrected. I am more than happy to assist with this!
