Cannot ungroup messages Cingular Flip IV

We are here to help with ungrouping your messages on your Cingular Flip IV, @leojbourne.

We understand how important it is to get your messages in chronological order. To manage your messages on your Cingular Flip IV , go to your message settings > select Group Messaging > and turn it off. After that, try restarting your device by holding your power button then turn it back on and see if that helps.

After turning group messaging off and powering your device off and on, have you tried composing a new message to whomever you are trying to text? Here is how to compose and send a text message without group messaging:

• ENTER RECIPIENT: Press the up or down button to highlight the 'To' field, then use the keypad to enter the desired contact. With the 'To' field highlighted, press the right menu button to select Add to add a contact from the contacts list.
• ENTER MESSAGE: Press the up or down button to highlight the 'Message' field, then use the keypad to enter the desired message.
• ADD ATTACHMENT: With the 'Message' field highlighted, press the right menu button to select Options, then press the OK key to select Add attachment.
• SEND A MESSAGE: When finished composing a message, press the left menu button to select Send to send the message.

Note: To add additional recipient(s) and create a Group Message, enter the additional contact(s) then press the down button to highlight the 'Message' field. To remove recipient(s), press the Power/Hang Up button to delete the desired contact(s).
