Bought Used Att phone from some one and found its installment plan is not completed

I Bought a Used Att phone from someone and found its installment plan is not completed

My questions are

How can I know how much installment is left on the phone? As it keeps redirecting me to the sign In page although I don't reside In the US and my country is different.

Also, I can't contact the real owner as I bought it from the physical shop in my country. They said Sim will work and they fooled me.

No AT&T won’t share any account information and you can’t pay it off. Get your money back

Moved to wireless forum since you are obviously talking about a cell phone. There are no installment plans on landline phones. There is no way for you to find out how much is owed on the phone, at least not from ATT. Even if you could find out, only the original owner can pay it off. Unfortunately, the phone won’t be unlocked until paid off. You should return the phone, if possible.

@sandblaster  is it possible that If I share Mobile IMEI with atnt and if they can check in the system about the first owner so I can contact him and pay the respective left charges? Seriously I need to use this mobile. Isn't their any way that Atnt can give me atleast 1 or 2 month access to unlock my device?
