Block Text Message Phone Number

Here's how to block or unblock calls.

1. From the home screen, press the Place/Answer Call button to access the Call log.
2. Press the navigational buttons to highlight the desired call, then press the right menu button to select Options. Ensure Call Information is highlighted, then press the OK button to select.
3. Press the right menu button to select Block, then press the right menu button again to select Block to confirm.

Unblock numbers

• From the desired call, press the right menu button to select Unblock.

When a call is blocked, it is routed directly to voicemail. The call blocking feature may not affect phone calls via third-party apps installed on your device. Contact third party app developers for assistance with such applications.

Follow these steps to block or unblock messages.

1. BLOCK NUMBER THROUGH MESSAGE LOG: From the home screen, press the OK button to access the Apps tray. Press the navigational buttons to highlight the Messages app, then press the OK button to select.
2. Press the navigational buttons to highlight the desired message thread, then press the OK button to select. Press the Up button to highlight the desired message, then press the Right menu button to select Options.
3. Press the Down button to highlight View message details, then press the OK button to select. Press the Right menu button to select Block.
4. Press the Right menu button to select Block, then press the Right menu button again to confirm.
5. UNBLOCK A NUMBER: From the home screen, press the Right menu button to access Contacts. Press the Right menu button again to select Options.
6. Press the Down button to highlight Settings, then press the OK button to select. Press the Down button to highlight Block contacts, then press the OK button to select.
7. Press the Up or Down button to highlight the desired contact to unblock, then press the Right menu button to unblock.
