Blackberry Priv (Blackberry meets Android)
The BB Priv is now up for pre-orders. I'm extremely excited Blackberry and Android finally teamed up; I've been calling for this for a long time.

way over priced at 699.99 with the specs it has. I will wait a few months for the price to drop to 399.99 where is should be.

the only place to get the Priv is on BB site. So far they are only selling it direct from them no carriers.

Nothing official, and no one from AT&T will ever say anything otherwise until AT&T itself makes an official press release announcement, but one rumor I've heard was sometime around the end of November.
That's a far cry from their usual wait of 3 to 6 months after everyone else in the world gets it.
Of course, BlackBerry is selling it for release on November 6 as posted above, but that doesn't help those of us who don't want to pay full price.

I am due for an upgrade and have been waiting for the Priv to launch. Will AT&T have them available soon? If I pre-order and receive one from BB, how would that affect my account with AT&T? Thanks!

I currently have the BBRY Classic (which I love) and would absolutely jump at the chance to upgrade to the Priv! Bring it as fast you can AT&T! Specs are the right balance for performance, security and long battery life. Can't wait!
