At&t Unite Express 2

My school issued hotspot has been flashing orange for the past 3 hours and will not turn on. It has been charged and worked perfectly fine 4 hours ago.

Allow us to assist so you get to that schoolwork, @adrian_00!

That blinking Amber light indicates the mobile Hotspot is either in standby mode or not connected to the network. You'll want to perform a power reset by pressing and holding the Power button for 3-4 seconds.

Once it's off, perform the same function (pressing and holding the Power button for 3-4 seconds) to power it on again. If the factory reset via the Power button feature s enabled, perform a factory reset:

  1. Press and hold the Power button for 3-4 seconds until the the shut down screen displays.
  2. Continue pressing and holding the Power button until the Factory Reset screen displays.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the factory reset.

Let us know how this helps.

Is there a way to disable using the power button to do a  factory reset on a AT&T Unite Express 2?  I could not find anyway to do it in the user's manual.

My company got me the a AT&T Unite Express 2 so that I could work from home. They took the device to AT&T to get it set up and get it a SIM card...every time I try to connect to it, my device says no connection. I've turned it off and on, I've re-inserted the SIM card...Do I need to do anything on my end to get it to actually work?
