I'm trying to do that.
For some bizarre reason, my Asus AX5700 wireless router thinks its internet port is not connected to the Neatgear MR6500 AT&T modem
Very strange
Does anyone know why this is happening?
Thanks,

Wow... I just found out how to connect my Asus AX5700 wireless router to my Neatgear MR6500 AT&T modem.
You must unplug the power from the MR6500 and then remove the batteries and then re-plug in the MR6500 (without the batteries installed).
The MR6500 goes into an automatic re-boot (which does not work) and then I did a manual re-boot by unplugging the MR6500 again.
Apparently - and this is beyond the weirdest things I have ever heard of - the ethernet port on the MR6500 does not work unless the batteries are taken out of the MT6500 and the batteries are permanently never put back in.
After more than 45 years working on computer technology - just when I think I have seen it all - some beyond incomprehensible, bizarre, wacko issue presents itself.

Hi truerock. It's great to hear that you were able to resolve your wireless router connectivity experience by restarting your AT&T Netgear M6500.
