Learn how to set up your AT&T Cell Booster

Settings up your AT&T Cell Booster is easy.

  1. Plug it into your modem
  2. Activate it
  3. Use it

If you have any hiccups when trying to set up the AT&T Cell Booster, we have you covered.

First, make sure you have activated it. While setting it up is simple, it will not work until it is activated. Make sure you have done this and followed all of the prompts.

Reset your modem

If you have custom settings. Those settings may be preventing the Cell Booster from connecting. A reset is a quick fix.

  • Press and hold the red reset button for 30 seconds. These steps are universal for most providers/ modems. (This will remove all custom settings).

Not all ports on the modem are the same. For AT&T, you’ll want to make sure the ethernet connection from the booster to your modem is plugged into one of the yellow ports labeled 1-4. Most modems have labeled ports, plug booster into one of them.

  • Make sure connections are securely connected
  • Do not bend the cable, this can damage the wiring and cause issues with the connection
