AT&T blacklist

I was told by a SIM distributor that my router is on the AT7T blacklist.    How can I tell if it is on the list??

You can do an IMEI blacklist search online. There's a dozen different websites which you can Google and run an IMEI for free, and request a blacklist check

They may be misstating the issue. Not every device is capable of working on AT&T. Therefore AT&T has an IMEI check for devices and they have a whitelist for devices that have been tested and do work on their network.

If you are trying to use a hotspot device that is not tested and approved, it is not " blacklisted " but it's also not whitelisted which means you can't use it.
