AT&T AllAccess Android App Won't Enable Security (WPA2 PSK) on Hotspot

Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 5G

AT&T AllAccess (latest version)

Android (latest version)

I have a supported hotspot plan, and the hotspot does work, the problem is everyone else uses my data because security will not enable no matter what I do.  I have resorted to making the hotspot an invisible network, but that does not work for all my purposes.  I have included pictures to indicate what is happening.  When the hotspot is turned on, the security changes to open by itself.  Others have experienced this as well if you read the reviews on the Google Play Store regarding AT&T AllAccess software.  I know this is a problem AT&T should just fix, and is likely easy, but I am willing to take a work around solution to make it work.  With the way I use this tablet it would not bother me to have the hotspot on all the time, as long as it was secure! Thanks in advance! (Side Note: If you know of a way to get AT&T to go ahead and fix this, please do!)

We noticed that you have updated your app and mobile device to it's latest version.

  • Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling the app?
  • Have you also tried clearing the app's data and cache?
    • These two tips have been shown to work when resolving common technical issues you are experiencing with your app. To Clear Your Device's Cache and Data, we recommend accessing the following link.

I am having the SAME IDENTICAL ISSUE WITH A BRAND NEW Samsung Tab S7 and cust service couldn't help. I have cleared data and cache and it didn't work. My tablet won't allow att allaccess to be Uninstalled or even to Uninstall updates and actually updates itself before allowing access to the connection screen options right after you agree to the terms and service.

Major SECURITY ISSUE AND I CANNOT USE MY HOTSPOT IN PUBLIC! Having access to this feature was the reason I just dropped $1000 on a tablet, accessories and service 3 flipping days ago! 

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
