Activate Nokia 3310 3G on AT&T

Just bought a new Nokia 3310 3G. I already have AT&T prepaid service on another phone that I'm going to switch to the Nokia 3310 3G. I keep reading about that AT&T won't allow new activation on 3G. Can I still switch service to the Nokia 3310 3G? I know that the network will be shut down in 2021, but I still have two years of use and this is a brand new phone that I bought at Best Buy.

Thanks

Hello @hippieelmo12,

We can definitely answer that question for you. You can fill out the information at this link to Check the compatibility of your device with the AT&T network. If the SIM card in your current cell phone is compatible with your new cell phone, you can also follow the steps at this link to Learn how to swap an active SIM card between devices. If your current SIM card isn't compatible, you'll need to Get a new SIM card and use our AT&T PREPAID Activation Portal to activate your new device. Let us know if this helps.

Sean-

Had to buy a new prepaid SIM as the one in my current phone was nano size and the Nokia 3310 3G takes a micro size SIM. Used the Prepaid website to activate the new SIM and change the IMEI number to the Nokia 3310 3G.

Phone works perfect! A lot better then my old Cingular Flip 2!!!!!

Thanks For Your Help
