Activate at&t micro sim card

Someone just ripped you off then. You don't buy a sim card. They're free. They come with the service. If you setup service . . . anywhere, store, website, over the phone, if you have a phone already, AT&T gives you a sim card.

If you are looking for prepaid, than maybe you might have loaded money on a prepaid account/line?

Let me explain what i have. i bought a single unactivated AT&T Micro Sim Card from ebay. like this

My question is how to activte the card online .I am not an att customer and i dont wat to transfer an existing number .

Why would you want to activate an AT&T SIM card without becoming a customer?  The SIM card is what ties your device to your AT&T Account, so if you have no AT&T Account, you can't activate a SIM.  This is the point people are trying to tell you.  AT&T will give you a free SIM with your account, and without an account, you can not activate a SIM.

What are you trying to accomplish with the AT&T SIM card you purchased?  Are you trying to put it into a phone that is locked to AT&T so you can use that phone with another carrier?  Is ther somethign else you are trying to do?

I think what he means is that he is currently not an AT&T customer but is interested in becoming one as soon as his SIM is activated. He would like to start a new account with a new AT&T phone number.

Like I mentioned above, you can activate your new SIM card online by going to this link:

https://www.wireless.att.com/GoPhoneWeb/goPhoneLanding.do?method=activatePayGo

Enter the digits on your SIM card, click 'Continue', then complete the rest of the activation process. It's very simple. You will have a new account with a new phone number at the end of the procedure.
