You can always buy a new phone at full price mid-way though your contract, then after you get it and are happy, you can sell your previous one to recover a little of the money. If you don't want that, you could look into the NEXT12 agreement which would purchase your new phone on a 20 month interest free installment plan, and then allow you to trade it in for a new phone after 12 months with no additional payments on the old phone. This would require that your previous phone be in good working order with no major defects (screen cracks, case dents, etc.) and you would then start a new NEXT12 agreement for the new phone.
