Resetting prepaid account password when the phone is broken?

My existing wireless phone is broken; it cannot receive calls or texts because it is damaged. I have a compatible phone that I want to switch to, but the SIM card does not fit. I'm trying to log in to my at&t prepaid account to perform the switch as directed in the instructions, but my password isn't working. I can't request a temporary password because, as stated above, my phone is inoperable. What can I do?

Hello,

You can call the number for prepaid care listed at www.paygonline.com if you have access to another phone, but might have issues validating your account as they usually send a one time pin or ask for your current pin. If you go by a local corporate AT&T store you can get a correct sized sim activated for new device in minutes. Then you can go online and successfully reset your pin.
