Logging into Prepaid Account, AT&T tells me my first time login is wrong?
My phone has been activated, but whenever I try to login to my AT&T account so I can add money, I'm told the password is wrong. I've never logged on before, so it should still be the default last 4 digits of my number, correct?
In case it isn't, I tried using "Forgot Password"...and was told my number isn't registered to an AT&T customer. I don't have cell service until I can access my account, so I can't call the PrePaid customer service department. Is there any other way to remedy this problem?

Good Afternoon @roseteresa,
We understand how important it is for our customers to be able to manage their accounts and devices online! I can definitely help you with this!
You mentioned attempting to log into your myAT&T account by using your wireless number and 4 digit password. We would like to thank you for the effort you put into getting this resolved. Since you recently activated your service to AT&T network, we highly recommend creating an access ID to access all your AT&T services. We also invite you to check out this great article which covers detailed information on Ways to manage AT&T Prepaid Usage.
I hope you find this information helpful. Have an amazing rest of your day!

I fail to see how giving me a link to an article about meeting data usage limits helps me log onto my AT&T account. Was that the link you meant to send?
Sending me to the access ID page for postpaid wireless users also didn't help. I am a PrePaid customer. As your website has told me many times over the last week: "AT&T PREPAID account can't be linked to an AT&T Access ID. (SRAS129)"
Is there anything else I can try? Please and thank you.

Hello @roseteresa,
Thank you for your response! The data usage link which was sent is there to help after setting everything up. I apologize for the wrong link previously, but I do have some additional great links to help!
To activate your new phone or SIM, visit this link or this one will go straight to our activation portal. Please go here to attempt the login and this article will be about paying (refilling) your AT&T PREPAID account balance. For a future reference, you can sign up for PREPAID AutoPay here. Many additional resources will be available within our AT&T PREPAID home page.
If you need any further assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact us back. Have a great day!

@roseteresa How long ago did you activate your SIM card and get your number? The initial login is supposed to be the last 4 digits of your number but you must login and select a plan within 60 days. If you waited too long, your account has been closed. If it has been less than 60 days, the only thing I can think of is the activation of the SIM card failed and that even though you were assigned a number, the account did not get created.

Thanks for responding so quickly.
As I said in the original post, my phone is already activated. I tried it again just in case and got the same response: your SIM is already activated. Still can't log in.

Thanks for the response, sandblaster.
It's been about a week now since my SIM was activated.
