Let's get your iPad Air 2 connected by offering some helpful suggestive tips, !

Resetting your device (PC, tablet, phone, etc) is the fastest fix in most cases. A reset may help and connect it to the best tower.

Reset your network settings to refresh your connection. Resetting the network restores the default settings on the device. Be aware, Bluetooth pairing and Wi-Fi settings are deleted and will need to be re-added. You will not lose data like pictures, videos, or text.

Visit our AT&T Wireless Support webpage and select Get Suggestions. You'll be directed to the Fix an Issue section. From there you will select your device then navigate back to that section and click Connection>Internet. Then follow the prompts and you'll come across very helpful personalized solutions.

Also, you may need a SIM replacement. You can purchase a new SIM at your nearest AT&T Store.

Please come back and let us know if this helped! Thank you for connecting with AT&T Community Forums!

How do I reset my iPad Air 2? When I followed the steps above the prompts just asked if I could make calls from this device. Well I don’t use my iPad to make calls and this was the only question the automated system asked.

Hi LFT0689, we are here to further address your iPad Air 2 cellular data connection concerns!

To reset your device, simply press and hold the sleep/wake button until the slider appears, then select and drag the Power icon to the right. You can also reset your network settings by navigating to the Settings app>General>Transfer or Reset iPad>Reset Network Settings > select Reset to confirm.

Learn how to view & manage your data, enable data usage by app, and turn Wi-Fi Assist on or off. Please keep in mind that the amount of data displayed is the amount used since the statistics were last reset, to ensure that you have enough data to use.

We also recommend checking for available software updates for your iPad to ensure all your apps are running on the latest sofware version. You'll need to navigate to Settings>General>Software update>Download and Install.

If this doesn't help we recommend logging in your account to confirm that your account is active and your device is updated or visit our nearest AT&T Store for a sim change if you've had the SIM card for a long time.

Feel free to reach back out to us if you have additional questions! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!
