I changed the primary on my account and now I can't access it

I changed the primary on my account from myself to my husband but they never took my SSN off. I didn't mind until my line was suspended and a message said I needed to pay the bill and after I did my phone still wouldn't work. My husband has changed all passcodes on the account and suspended my line and I haven't found any help to remedy the situation. What can I do?

We understand that you no longer want your personal information on the account and are here to help @KimberlySirls.

In order to look into account changes we recommend going to one of our AT&T retail locations with valid identification.

If you would like to no longer be held responsible for the account, then we'd recommend a Transfer of Billing Responsibility.

This puts billing responsibility in the new owner's name, using their credit info.

We hope this helps.

Changing the primary on the account does not change account ownership. You need to process the transfer of billing responsibility to transfer account ownership.
