To get hotspot back, you need to change to a plan that supports it, either the 8GB $50 plan or the $85 unlimited plan. Just remember, when you change your plan you terminate your current plan and you have to pay the full amount to start the new plan.

I was told that the $65 plan does not allow hotspot by an at&t customer service rep.
