Cannot log into my ATT wireless account online

I have an ATT wireless plan, when I try to log in online it has message that the account has been locked. How do I clear the lock? Do I have to wait 24 hours?

I called 800 288 2020 but get automated message asking for a pin code but I do not know that

Thanks

Hey there, @sjr1127! Here is what you need to know about regaining access to your myAT&T account.

After six unsuccessful sign in attempts are made within a 24-hour period, your account is locked. You can unlock your account by performing a Password Reset, or reattempting to login after one hour.

To perform a password reset follow these instructions:

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile.
  2. Scroll to Sign in info.
  3. Select Edit next to Password.
  4. Enter and save your password info.

Also, AT&T temporarily locks a user ID and/or billing account from myAT&T access when possible unauthorized access is identified. Visit Fraud & security resources to learn how we can help you guard against fraud and keep your accounts and devices safe and secure.

We hope this information helps. Thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums.

Hi, try resetting your password. If that does not work, call 800.331.0500 or 314.925.6925

I was locked out of my SBCglobsl.net account when my phone die while I was in Europe. Purchased a new phone from Apple and the SBC account didn’t down load. When I returned I phoned AT&T. Told me we can’t do a thing, go to gmail and open a new account.
I have had the SBC email since the mid 80’s I lost much information.
I want to know what I can do ?
