Cannot log into account to cancel my service

I recently got a last minute deployment and need to cancel my service and have my phone unlocked so that I can buy a local line and talk to my family. Every time I to log into my account it says "An error occurred while processing your request." I have tried using different browsers and they all direct me to the same page. Is there a support team I can send my Orders to cancel my service and unlock my phone?

Link below has info on how to unlock and cancel/suspend service due to military deployment. This has email, FAX, and old fashion mail address.

We want to help figure out why you're unable to access your AT&T PREPAID account, @martinkirk

 

Are you still in the United States or have you left the country? Sharing this will let us know which department to direct you to if you require advanced support. 

 

In the meantime, we have a few recommendations we'd like you to try: 

  • Reset your password. ~ Follow the steps listed below: 
    1. Go to the myAT&T sign-in page.
    2. Select Forgot PIN / Password.
    3. Enter your wireless number and choose Request Online Password or Request 4-Digit PIN (you can select both).
    4. Select Send PIN / Password. We’ll send a text with the temporary info. 
    5. Enter the temporary info and select Continue.
    6. Follow the prompts to create a new online password or four-digit PIN. 
  • Check your network connection. ~ The error messages you're receiving may indicate that there is a communication problem with the server. Here's what you can do to try to improve your connection:
    1. Check our Wireless Map to ensure you're in a covered zone. (If you aren't then you'll need to move to one to use your service.)
    2. Restart your device. ~ This is a simple resolution to most device trends. 
    3. Toggle Airplane mode on and off. ~ This will sync your device to nearby towers. 
    4. Reset your network settings. ~ This will also assist with syncing your device to our towers.

****Please keep in mind that if you're outside of the U.S., then you may not be able to access your online PREPAID account due to certain restrictions.

if you are outside the US you cant access your account as they are blocked from outside the us. if you need to cancel autopay then cancel the card used for autopay and have your bank issue you a new card, it will have a different security code on the back rendering they payment unavailable.

regardless of your issues while in the states they are blocked from access outside of the US and prepaid does not roam in brazil.

good lord, since 911 the government has restricted access to wireless accounts from outside the US they cannot just make a new website for you to access it from outside the US , if you knew anything about 911 you would know the perpetrators used prepaid wireless phone to coordinate the attacks bottom line your wasting your time here, either call the number att help provided or cancel the card
