Why no signal in buildings?
I have had Att for 8 years, then switched to Verizon, and back to att because of our tv. I had the same phone on att and verizon iphone 7 plus, prior to that i had a 6 plus on att for two years. I always had trouble with my signal in buildings as did the people i worked with (in multiple locations). The people who had Verizon always had service. When I switched to Verizon I had full signal in an underground parking deck that used to be a dead zone for me. In my office, and other buildings I worked in I always had signal with Verizon, in Target, etc. Now, that I'm back on AT&T the service is ridiculously slow, and rarely has signal, the most I've seen is two bars even outside. Huge difference in reliability. Why is the service so slow and unreliable? Especially with the new unlimited data plan, that advertises fast data speeds.

Hello @afsteph1!
Having a reliable connection is extremely important and I can understand the importance of needing your phone wherever or whenever you need it. I am here to help; I have some troubleshooting steps I want you to try. Let’s get started!
One thing I would recommend doing is preforming a network settings reset. By going to our Device Support Tool it will show you step by step instructions on how to do it. Don’t worry; all you would have to do is reconnect to your WI-FI and Bluetooth connections.
We have an amazing Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. By answering the on screen question it will help you pinpoint the issue and find the best solution for you. I love using this resource; it’s like having your own technical support agent whenever you need it.
You can also use Mark the Spot app to let us know when and where you’re receiving bad service. It will help us know where dark zones are so we can see about fixing the surrounding area.
I hope you have a fantastic rest of your day and an even better weekend!

I recently started a job in Tahoka, Tx. I get phone/internet service until I enter the building. Once inside I get no service whatsoever. I at least need phone service as I am a principal at the elementary school. Is there anything that might help me get phone service?

I made a phone call to AT&T technical support team and ask them to improve the signal issue because there is no signal in my building.
The answer was they don`t provide any service for the poor or no signal inside of the building.
There is a thousand people working in my building and nobody can use the phone inside of building but AT&T seems not to help about it.
Great. Thanks to make a decision to switch to Verizon.
