Sim card not working/deactivated?

I received a tablet through the ACP. It seemed kind of glitchy so I did a factory data reset. Now my sim card status is emergency only and I can't get it to connect to the network.

Hey @newerestphone24, we are here to address your SIM card concern. We hear you, and want to help get this sorted.

Before we get started, could you please help me with the answers for the following questions:
1. How is it you know the SIM card is active?
2. Was it active in a different phone previously?
3. Did you activate it in a store?
4. Was it demonstrated that the phone worked?
5. Where did you receive the SIM card by mail and go through the activation process?

In order for an AT&T SIM card to work it has to be activated and service has to be paid for. If you are a prepaid customer you have to add a refill to your account in order to pay for service.

More info would be helpful.  Including what plan you have purchased and whether you have verified the IMEI on your phone and activated using the ICC ID number on the SIM card.

If you could please provide answers to the questions that we have asked, as this will help us determine why you are not getting service on your device.

We look forward to your response, so we can work together to come up with a resolution for you.
