Significantly reduced LTE signal strength in area that used to be fine

I'm visiting my parents for a few weeks during this COVID crisis and they live out in the country. The last time I was visiting at the beginning of March the LTE signal was fine, but when I came back a few days ago I noticed that I only get 1 bar inside when I used to get 3 bars. I can even see the tower from my house on top of a mountain. Just wondering why the signal is so bad all of a sudden. It's a serious problem as it's my parents main internet source and we're all working from home now. The zip code is 21530.

Hi @natrail,

Thanks for reaching out! We'd love to help.

The tower in your area is in good standing. There are several variables that could be the cause however. Please let us know the make and models of the device(s) being affected by this poor cellular service. You may want to try resetting your network settings, which will refresh your connection. Save ALL of your network information, such as passwords etc., as this will be deleted when you do this.

If any changes were made to your account or devices, let us know. Are you using a mobile hotspot? Any additional information will help us. We look forward to your response!
