Recently ported my SM-G925V from Verizon to At&T but not getting 4G LTE signal ever since
Hi All,
I recently ported my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge from Verizon to At&t. However I am not receiving 4G LTE signal ever since.
I did a compatibility test in At&T website https://www.att.com/shop/wireless/byop.html and got the message saying "Congratulations. Your device is compatible with AT&T services.". When I contacted At&t technical support, they checked all the APN settings, changed IMEI numbers at their end to an att device IMEI but none of them worked. When I contacted Verizon, they had no solutions to offer and said Verizon designs its smartphones so that they work best on their networks. Does this mean we cannot port Verizon devices to At&t at all? Why was the compatibility check in att website showing my phone as compatible even though I cannot get 4G LTE services from at&t that I am paying for? why was there no warnings from the att store when I went to them for porting my number from Verizon to At&t?
Basically I am left with only 2 options now:
1. Either to switch back to Verizon.(unnecessary activation fees and set up charges)
2. Unplanned upgrade of my device and stay with at&t.
Please let me know is there any other way to reset my verizon device so that I can get 4G LTE services with at&t? any idea if samsung authorized service centers will be able to help here?
Thanks,

well the BYOP tool checks for 3g compatibility not LTE.... The other problem is the phone only has bands 4 and 5 for LTE... It needs bands 2,4,5,12 or 17,30 to get full LTE... If this was a 935v you would be ok since samsung quit making different models for each carrier after the s6 series.
