Dropped calls? Receiving your text messages late? This has happened to me and I hate it! There are a lot factors that come into play that can impact your mobility experience like a weak signal building design/ materials, ground minerals, even the area or environment you are in. These are items we are not able to control but we do have a solution that may work for you called Wi-Fi Calling!
Wi-Fi Calling is a feature that uses Wi-Fi to call, text, and retrieve visual Voicemail Message like you would over the cellular network. It is a great feature that can improve your mobility experience! To see what devices are available for Wi-Fi Calling or to purchase one, check out our shop page filtered to the devices that support this feature.
To verify your device and setup Wi-Fi Calling:
- Go to Device Support.
- Select device brand and model.
- Type W-Fi Calling in the search field.
- If your device is compatible, you will see instructions to enable your device.
- A Wi-Fi Internet connection – any internet provider can be used.
- A Wi-Fi Calling capable device.
- A postpaid AT&T wireless account provisioned with HD Voice.

Note: Environmental factors like wall and floor thickness can impact the wireless signal. Building material used in construction can also impact signal like metal frames. Other factors in include electromagnetic interference that is emitted from most electronics.
