Poor Service

After more than 20 yrs as a dedicated ATT customer, I will be seeking the services of a carrier that can actually deliver wireless service. ATT has gone from being the leader in the industry to a subpar carrier.  I never have more than 2 bars, mostly 1 bar even in a supposedly high coverage metropolitan area.  My 5G iPhone 13 Prob is a nice alarm clock when away from home with no Wi-Fi.

Super.

It is what is recommended if your service is not sufficient for your needs and your location.

I write to people who complain that they want 'service fixed or they're going to leave' all the time. I tell them there is no magical solution to make service work in an area where the service provider just does not have coverage.

The wise Alec response is 'there's no need to announce your departure'    AT&T is not an airline...

Please make sure you unlock your phone before you quit.

We're here to address your wireless service concerns, @Deannamcarter. We value you as a long-time customer.

Thanks for your help in this matter, @formerlyknownas.

Based on the extent of this conversation, we'd like to carry this over in a DM. Please check your Direct Message inbox (chat icon next to a bell icon in the upper right corner of this page).

In the meantime, we have a few troubleshooting steps we'd like you to try if you haven't already:

  • Reset your network settings. ~ This will help refresh your connection to the network.
  • Toggle Airplane mode on and off. ~ This helps sync your device to nearby towers.
  • Consider using Wi-Fi Calling. ~ This is used when a cellular signal is weak or unavailable.

We'll chat soon!
